Q: How long have you been designing?
Five years.

Q: What made you decide to start the collection?
I finally came to the realization that there was never going to be “the perfect time to launch the collection.” This year was a very special year for me because I decided to believe in myself 150 percent. That what I have, is a talent so I should respect it and share it with the world.

Q: When did Anna Fong launch?
It will officially launch in Spring of 2008.

Q: What’s your inspiration for your current collection?
I did create a small collection for Fall ’07, and that was inspired by the “chicness” of Black and Gold. I’ve been inspired by gold lately and the different tones of gold. In this collection you see contrast gold metallic stitching, gold leather belts and trims as accents in a garment. The line accentuates a woman’s silhouette, chic style, femininity, beauty and glamour.

Q: What makes Anna Fong different from its competitors?
Price, quality, comfort, fit, versatility and a presence with each piece.

Q: What’s included in your collection and price points?
Included in the line are separates, dresses for day and evening wear. I like to have pieces in my line that are versatile in a woman’s wardrobe and lifestyle. She can go from work to an evening event with the same outfit by just moderately changing the look. It can be as easy as changing the shoes and or jewelry.

Evening Dresses: $200 – $800

I plan on extending myself to more celebrities in the very near future ,but I do have some very stylish woman wearing Anna Fong…

Q: What can we expect from your upcoming collection?
Spring ’08 is inspired by the ballerina. The femininity and strength in a ballerina was really influential in the collection. You can expect flirty sundresses with a vintage feel. Cocktail dresses that will bring out the glamour in any woman and speak of confidence and chic style. Separates that will be versatile in any woman’s wardrobe yet enhance her style with any new addition.

Q: What’s in the future of Anna Fong?
As a designer I’ve been constantly evolving and refining my signature style, so I feel I’m getting closer to that as each collection is designed.
