Prediction:
Birds of a fashionable feather will be collectively flocking toward plumage bearing headbands come fall.
The feathers that were flying in virtually every designer’s fall runway show made quite the impression on us. So, we’re glad to see that a few of our favorite fashionistas are getting in on the act, including maverick Sarah Jessica Parker who recently embraced the look in a show stopping couture head piece. Not quite ready to don a towering cap festooned in feathers? No problem, headbands are the ideal take down of the trend that can add instant interest to a well thought out ensemble. We’re smitten by the perfectly charming toppers spotted at www.plumashop.com and Charm School Design.
I like! I’ve been thinking of other things to do with my hair, so this works well. Thanks!
kinda cute. looks better on the shorter cuts then SJP’s.
I can dig these. I’d think they’d compliment my locs.
I like it but its not me! Maybe its because I really don’t like birds…you knows!!! But I think it looks really cute on people with bangs.
ooh Hey, I noticed Kenley on Project Runway sporting this look and I love it! Very vintage.

These are great headbands! I found a new store online called Esti Headbands. Go to http://www.estiheadbands.com for the new fashion trend! Feather headbands – beautifully crafted and worth every cent. I bought a few of them and get complimented all the time! I saw similar ones in Lucky and OK and People magazines. These magazines say that feather headbands are number three of the top ten fashion trends for the fall 2008 and winter 2009. I find Esti Headbands to be plentiful and so beautiful! Check it out! http://www.estiheadbands.com
These are really pretty. There is another website that I found where I found beautiful and unique feather headbands. They say that they sell to Patricia Fields (they sell to movie sets like Sex in The City and Shopaholic) in NYC. I own a few of these “Esti Headbands. Here is the website – it’s great! http://www.estiheadbands.com
