no, just no. The best part of the this video is the shoes in the intro.
I really don’t know what to think about this song or video. Personally, I prefer Cassie to stick to modeling. She is just not talented enough for me. I like the theme of the song….wonder who’s she talking about….But anyway, is it just me or does some of the shots in the video remind you of Aaliyah? And trust me, I hate making such a comparison but Cassie does remind me of her as far as looks.
Let me preface this comment by saying that Cassie is a beautiful girl and her vocals have somewhat improved from her last effort, but it shows the sad state of the music industry when they put out artists who obviously have no musical talent. It kills me to say that last part, because I don’t knock anybodies hustle and as an artist I’m sensitive about my own bullsh+t. Yes the beat is hot, the video is flashy, yes the clothes are nice, yes you have that stamp of approval because Lil Wayne laced your joint, but oh my gosh. I’m sorry I just can’t support mediocrity and although she seems like a nice girl, this is saying nothing about her character, but her music career reeks of mediocrity. And unfortunately mediocrity seems to be the standard and measuring stick of hot “artists” out right now.
Just my two cents.
She is a beautiful girl. Love the shoes in the intro. It does seem that her stylists were trying to make her look like Aaliyah. However, she really can’t dance, or sing. Great job of getting Lil Wayne on the track and in the video, that will most def get people to listen. The beat is hot, and her style is great, but she should stick to Sean John ads, and hanging on the arm of P. Diddy to make him look good, although he is probably old enough to have fathered her. I probably won’t be adding this to my mp3 list. Nice try though Cassie, try again in a few years, and maybe your voice will have improved some more.

I guess she is tired of being her boss’s “bust it baby” but the shoes in the intro are soooo dope! Look….we know that the music industry is on life support at this time and nothing personal against Cassie, because she is just doing what she has to do…I suppose, but I mean really. Could her vocals be any more studioed to death? As Bill Cosby says….COME ON PEOPLE!!
This sucks. She sounds like she’s 12 and I’m not at all interested in her vocals.

Aaliyah is seriously missed! I saw her all over this video and I watched it w/o sound. I was waiting for Cassie to swerve her hips like baby girl used to do, but to no avail…she is dead and the music industry continues to clone her .
