Movies are great. They can be entertaining and provide worthwhile distraction from our daily lives. They can also serve to enlighten and inspire us to reach beyond our own expectations and make our dreams a reality. While there may not be as many Black films in existence than we’d like to admit, there still exists a good number movies that should be found in every African American household. A few of our favorites include:

    I can’t believe no one mentioned Tyler Perry. I’m sorry but Diary Of A Mad Black Woman is one of my favorites! Of course, Dead Presidents is one of my fav’s 2!
