Top Black Films That Should Be In Every African American Household

Movies are great. They can be entertaining and provide worthwhile distraction from our daily lives. They can also serve to enlighten and inspire us to reach beyond our own expectations and make our dreams a reality. While there may not be as many Black films in existence than we’d like to admit, there still exists a good number movies that should be found in every African American household. A few of our favorites include:

  10. I looked at allllll of these movies and my personal favorite was not mentioned one time…. Harlem Nights! It has an explosion of who’s who black comedians and is hilarious! “So now ya wanna shoot me in the pinky toe?!?!?!?”

I have to say my all time fave’s are……….the wiz ….what’s love….love and basketball……malcom x……..and the color purple……..but i’ve yet to see………”ONCE UPON A TIME WHEN WE WERE COLORED”………”MAMMA FLORA’S FAMILY”,……..”MISS JANE PITMAN”…….KINGDOME COME……JAWANNA MANN………THE PREACHERS WIFE………. THE FIGHTING TEMPTATIONS………..OR MY OTHA FAVE………….THE TEMPTATIONS!!!………….just to name a few!!!
