Clutchettes – Ms. Teyana Taylor is about to drop a new lip gloss line called “Dope Lips“. We know there has been lots of chatter on the net questioning why Teyana is a celebrity. She dropped “Google Me” last year and since then we have spotted her just about everywhere. We are guessing Teyana is trying to solidify her spot in the industry by being a smart young woman and adding other things to her resume. We wish her the best and you have to admit the shoot is dope.

i remember her on my super sweet 16 a few years ago. she was supposed to be on star trak’s label. which would have been cool because i think everything the neptunes touch is golden. lately though it does seem like she’s famous for being famous…anyhow, i’d buy any lipgloss that’s a nice shade and not ridiculously expesive, which i bet these are.

The Neptunes have fallen back a bit compared to their heyday in 2002-2006. I don’t think they have the clout to launch Teyana into superstardom, particularly now that any Kelis-esque singer is going to be compared to Rihanna. I wish her luck with her ventures though.
Yes, I would purchase it. Got some lips like my girl but I have the hardest time finding good lipstick colours…so why not. I’ve lined the pockets of MAC, Dior, and Lancome, why not her??
T really like this girl…though she may not have an album out, she has been making waves as a song writer (backstreet boys, usher, chris brown, omarion, etc), she has her own publishing company, she’s on magazine covers, she’s been working the runway during fashion week. She’s certainly doing her thing. But most of all, holding onto her morals…and her viriginity.
