she looks aight. a little overdone. and MAN those boobs, right?!
She ain’t lying-that out fit on the right was unexpected.
I don’t like it.
She looks like everyone else now.
I love the printed dress the best! And she looks like she’s shed some weight or kept the weight from celebrity fitness off.
Where has she been? She actually looks pretty good. Looks like she has lost weight.
Don’t like it. It seems like she is trying to fit in to what everyone else is doing. I thinks she looks better with a more natural look. Less makeup, less hair, and clothes that aren’t as tight.
she looks squeezed and uncomfortable… she hates those clothes. I can tell.
She looks like everyone else. I don’t like it.
H.A.M.
I looove Angie and I don’t care what she looks like I would still buy her music. She could have done without the corset look. I like the printed dress better.
the stylist needs to get got.
Not feelin the look at all, but I love me some Angie Stone, so I will be purchasing the new CD.
I love Angie’s music but this ain’t TRILL at all…
I understand that her music may not be as mainstream and sometimes people feel that they have to change their look to become more appealing to the public but this is just not right and not acceptable….Her real fans know who she really is…This isn’t the real Angie that emerged into the music scene some years ago….Now she looks like everybody else…Sad..
This isn’t a representation of Angie Stone… She’s ridiculously over done in everyway; it is almost like she is a super hero.
She not going to fight crime, she going to blow our mind with her beautiful voice and the substance that she brings to the music industry that is lacking.
This is not a 3 ring circus when artist of Angie Stone caliber has to become a clown light figure to sell songs.
Really, I am not playing hating, I am just being genuine in my perspective on this because this woman is beautiful and always have been and she amazedly gifted.
Angie this is not you, you are a beautiful sultry sensuous black woman, and your nature style from the past represent Angie individuality, and your uniqueness respectfulness that you as a black woman brought to the image of black woman in our culture today.
Any artist can do super hero, sleazy, trashy urban and other undesirable images that they bestow on black women artists today to sell music, but I would think that you would choose another light to bring to the game .
This in my opinion is “Unexpected” but I guess as long as you make your money, it really isn’t going to matter what any of us think.
Sex sell, gimmicks produce riches, and that is all that the artists and industry pundits really care about, and in the end who care about the self image and worth of black woman in the industry and everyday life.
This is my opinion and commentary and this was totally “Unexpected”.
what did she do to herself? illuminati!!!!
*lol* @ Anonygrl & agree with Brit
I think she looks really nice!! and besides its not what you guys think about her maybe this is her maybe she felt like she needed a change sometimes change is good if you dont allow change in your life then you’ll experience no growth…think about that….
Looks like she’s getting down to business in a great new slimmer sexier look.
I’m not feelin’ the look at all. I agree with the other poster she looks like a carbon copy of everyone else now. I have no problem with the hair straighter or whatever, the corset is ridiculous. Her music is the draw not the cartoonish makeup, overdone squeezed outfit. Her natural was one of the reasons I admired her uniqueness. *smh* carbon copy carbon copy…
The natural had to go huhn? Sad. I guess its better to fit in with every other carbon copy, unoriginal, seen it all before, wannabe barbie african american woman, rather than represent sistahs in their natural beauty. Another unspoken message that black womens natural beauty is not good enough, not in enough, and another one bites the dust….
