What do you do when you’ve dominated the fast-fashion sector? You apply the same formula to beauty.
Forever 21 will launch love & beauty this month, becoming the first fast-fashion retailer to have a beauty presence stateside. The beauty line includes fragrance, cosmetic bags, tweezers, makeup brushes and products for the lips, eyes, face and nails that will retail under $10.
In a statement to WWD, Kirstin Nagle, a spokeswoman for Forever 21 stated, “If you think of our customer, she loves being on trend and, to complete her look, we had everything in our stores except the cosmetics piece. We are using a lot of the vendors that are making prestige cosmetics. It is the same quality as prestige vendors, but at Forever 21 prices.”
So what do you think Clutch-ettes, yay or nay?
I must admit that the Forever 21 on Michigan Ave. here in Chicago is one of my favorite stores. I think I’d definitely try out some of their cosmetics- especially brushes ect that can be pricey other places.
Nay. It looks cheap. But I should try it first before I give a full opinion.
