Faux News’ “Conservative Hit Job” on President Obama
If this isn’t proof that Rupert Murdoch’s Fox organization is a mouthpiece for an sinister, counterproductive and archaic faction of backwards individuals, then we shudder to think of what is. The sheer display of disrespect and obstruction of vital communication from the President of the United States is no doubt a classic “Faux News” trademark and the epitome of the hideous side of American culture.
So-called news anchor Bret Baier is likely the toast of News Corp, and a crass buffoon in the eyes of the international community. In fact, The White House has made no bones about their take on the fraudulent news source. In October its then-communications director, Anita Dunn, called Fox News “either the research arm or the communications arm of the Republican Party” and added, “Let’s not pretend they’re a news organization like CNN is.” The shocker is not that Baier conducted himself like the angry little narrow minded guy that he is, but that Obama wasn’t better prepared to shut that simple fellow down once he got out of line.
Let’s hope when his tenure is through, he gets a chance to ‘smack’ those fools down a la Fmr. Pres. Clinton vs. Chris Wallace in September, 2006.

Look here do not sympathize for Obama, he hasn’t done any thing but follow the orders of the NEW WORLD ORDER just like Bush and his daddy. Obama should have shut him down, I agree. sometimes you can’t be all poised- he shouldn’t tolerate any disrespect. we all have different opinions and agendas; that’s fine and dandy but once you start to purposely disrespect me equals a problem.

From watching this video, I can see that Obama wanted to shut him up multiple times. But I think he also feels the immense pressure from being constantly watched, like he’s supposed to display other-wordly elegance and be beneath the petty jabs of someone like Bret Baier.
However, Faux has gone too far, and for once I’d like to hear Obama tell them to sit the fuck down, and shut the fuck up.

I’m sorry, but can we get non-partisan political pieces on this website? Not every black person voted for Barack Obama, not every black person is a Democrat, not every black person who did vote for Obama sees any sling thrown his way as a call to arms for black folks, and so on.
You may not have voted for him, but I think we can agree that the President was disrespected, and that this type of behavior has been typical of this particular network. That was the point of this piece.

To “Someone with home training”–since man could pick up a pen to criticize their leaders, some facet of the press has had it in for the person in charge. NO one is “out to get” or “disrespect” Obama any more or any less than the press treated Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr, Reagan, Carter, Ford, Nixon, Johnson, Kennedy, Eisenhower, Truman, Roosevelt, Hoover, Coolidge, Harding, Wilson, Taft, Roosevelt, McKinley, Cleveland, etc, etc (and yeah, I took it back to the nineteenth century). Methinks the American public should take a trip through the archives of America’s newspapers to see that no president has EVER gotten the support of every media outlet, and that every president has had one or more newspapers/news shows hound and berate him for his policies and actions. I would like Clutch to offer pieces from other sides of the political spectrum (and hey, that includes not just black Republicans or conservatives, but black libertarians, liberal republicans, conservative democrats, etc) or even posts about what is going on in other places where there is a significant population of black people (hellooo Detroit). IMO, too many political posts are about Obama the man, rather than Obama the president.
The best way to handle Fox is to ignore them, they have an agenda you can not deal with them, rationalize with them, you can not work with them. They will just rip up whatever you say or edit it out. Yet this administration continues to give these knuckleheads the time of day. Dont give them a solo interview, let then stand there at the press confrence with the rest of the netwroks and get their info from their.
