I always loved Toni Braxton. I think she looks great, but and I hate that there is a but…she needs to stop trying so hard to be “sexy”. Sexy is a natural thing… the mouth open, forced fierce eyes…not working, comes across as too much.
Why is she releasing so many videos so soon?
I like Toni, but she needs to stop trying to “fit in”. She needs to be creating her own lane instead of trying to catch up. She looks silly and she’s way to gorgeous to be trying to “fit in” or compete with these younger girls.
It’s so similar to the En Vogue vide, ‘Something He Can Feel” that its hard not to compare the two. I personally like the En Vogue vid far better. Probably just nostalgia
aaaah Toni…Just why? Toni is best known for being a sultry sexy crooner, an ode to fabulous R&B music. The talent is there but her trying to compete with the youngins is just simply dreadful. Toni needs to just be Toni. This video makes me cringe and I in some ways feel embarrassed for her. Not feeling it at all.
After Anita Baker, Toni is my favorite singer and as a DIEHARD Toni fan for the 1st time I have to say I am not excited about the selections off the upcoming new CD. I loved “Yesterday” – that was classic Toni. I want her to evolve but not towards what is already out.
To my fellow Libra – Toni please stick to the script and don’t go to far away from what your base wants to hear from you. Also, Toni the hairstyle….sweetie don’t go down the Rihanna haircut road. Keri and more have already been there and done that.
I am in love with this song, kinda wish the video was more related to the song because they lyrics are the TRUTH! Toni looks great and is still unmatched in the game, but I agree with Mona, Toni is fierce enough that she doesn’t need to try & fit in with the new crew of R&B chicks in the game, she’s legend!
