This look signals a Marylin Monroe look for me because of the wig. A loose wavy bleach blonde bob post 1950′s is arguably an aesthetic and iconographic echo of Marylin Monroe. This look juxtaposes Monroe’s 50′s glam with a more aggressive/edgy representation, which is dope! Your welcomed interpretation is up to you! Enjoy the pics! Thanks!

Why not say Amber Rose was channeling Amber Rose? Not everything is a throwback. Some things are a throwfoward. She’s pushing herself.

I really like this shoot, but I dont think she was planning on imitating Marilyn Monroe. When you say Marilyn Monroe it really takes away from the creativeness from the photo because people will compare it to Marilyn Monroe. I like the wig because it is something new for Amber Rose and not just a bald shoot. I give her props for branching out.
