Did “That White Girl” Kill Gary Coleman?
The outrage over the death of childhood Actor Gary Coleman and subsequent deathbed photos have reached fever pitch on the Web, with website commenter’s taking sides over the ordeal, saying Shannon Price failed to act as a wife (ex-wife actually) while others say she simply did what she could.
But unfortunately, and perhaps predictably, many opinions expressed about the matter have taken Coleman to task for marrying a White girl, and they see the case as a pitfall of interracial relationships.

Yes, as controversial as it sounds, a few commenter’s have compared the incident, in which Coleman supposedly fell down a flight of stairs and lay motionless while bleeding profusely from the back of the head — to a kind of twisted retribution for the botched verdict in O.J. Simpson’s criminal trial.
Now we all know website commenter’s often mean well [don't you?], and we all have a vested interest in free speech and all, but must everything degenerate into race-based drivel?
Public reaction to the audio tape of the harrowing ordeal – in which a 911 dispatcher can clearly be heard telling Price to “at least give him a towel” — serves as a barometer for a so-called post-racial society that is supposed to be enjoying a stirring moment in U.S. history: the first term of the first African-American President.
But on the Internet, racial lines are clearly being drawn. Below are some comments culled from several popular sites.
“Well, this is what he gets for marrying a sorry-azz white chick who didn’t really care about him at all….now we know and so does he.”
“Like I told my brothers, white girls may be easy to get but they’re not loyal in anyway and would turn on you in a millisecond.”
“ I think the sneaky red headed heffa did kill him.”
“I know sometimes I get on a sista or even call y’all nappy Heads from time to time. But on the real a sista that loves you would never watch her man fade away like this. Black people are usually good-hearted people. If a person is in dying need of help, how in the world you can say I’m not going down there, that’s insane.”
And of course, there have been hundreds of commenter’s that resisted urges to be mean-spirited and countered with levelheaded answers:
“Evil comes in all colors people, please look beyond the race variable. Some Black women have done it too.”
“What the hell does her color have to do with anything. From what it sounds like, she was some cold-hearted woman who did nothing to alleviate her (ex) husband in his final moments. Judge her for her actions and not the color of her skin.”
“AND [she] HAD THE LIFE SUPPORT CUT OFF AFTER JUST A DAY; MY GOD SHE KILLED MY CHILDHOOD IDOL!” (Coleman’s death has not been investigated as a crime nor has Shannon Price been implicated as a potential suspect in any way)
Price, for her part, hasn’t been silent. In a video obtained by TMZ, she said anyone who thinks she’s a gold digger or heartless just isn’t informed. “Why would I want to hurt my husband, are you kidding?”
According to reports Price said she chose to take Coleman off life support because his injuries had irreparably damaged him. “The doctor said even if they took a chunk out of his brain, he wouldn’t be the same … he would have died sooner or later anyway. …. Gary was gone, his eyes were dilated. He was gone.”
Price said she was appreciative for all he had done for her. “He’s done a lot for me, he’s bought me a car … which I didn’t ask him to do.”
Judging from how surreal this ordeal continues to get (Coleman’s estate is plagued by infighting and several wills for the former actor have mysteriously popped up) it’s clear that race is the last thing we, his fans, need to contemplate during this difficult time, no matter how angry we get.
Perhaps, Coleman’s former co-star on “Diff”rent Strokes,” Todd Bridges, said it best, when he tweeted: “To find out pics of Gary Coleman in his last days got out, I hope someone burns in hell for this one.”
Well, they said hell hath no fury, like a woman scorned.

Aside from the pictures, the thing that infuriated me was that she made the decision to take him off life support as his ex-wife. They weren’t even married. They were more like roommates. Things like that just do not sit well with me. Just everything she’s done, since the 911 call has been sketchy. She may not know how to grieve or she just might be evil. Nothing to do with her being a red head or white.
Her skin color shouldn’t even matter. But do I think she killed him? Yeah. She was arrested for domestic violence. So it is possible. But no one was in that house but the 2 of them.
It’s ok to suspect, but come on….

The tabloid TV programs have reported that Shannon snapped pictures of Coleman as he lay on the floor bleeding. She sold pics of her and Coleman at his bedside while he was in a coma and on full life support.
This chick is the lowest of the low.
“We were aware that Shannon and her family were inside taking pictures… we made notes that the family was taking pictures.”
I think foul play is at hand. In the tape she doesn’t sound at all empathetic or even terribly worried, she sounds about as casual as ordering pizza. I don’t think I heard the semblance of any tears, voice swelling or anything indicating real concern. They have a history of domestic violence, and at a minimum the action of taking photographs is suspect.
If your loved one was that seriously injured wouldn’t you at least attempt to help them regardless of if you might “seize from seeing blood”?

Race doesnt factor in this one for me how he died does. The whole story of how he was injured just doesnt sit well and her behavoir afterwards is suspect.
I think the white girl comments have some validity to them, although stereotyping by race is distasteful. White women murder their husbands and children more than any other race of women. That aside I’m never too shocked when white women turn on their black meal ticket once they exhaust all usefulness. But forget that, what is really concerning me is that she is not in jail. If it was reversed and he killed that white girl he would have been in jail the next day. Imagine them letting a black man off the hook despite the obviously suspicious behavior, motive and opportunity. I think she is guilty, if you are truly concerned about a loved one, you would risk “seizing” (no word yet on if she actually has seizures at all) to save them. Then you cut the life support off without giving him any time to recover??? that screams cover up to me. She is as fake as a three dollar bill.
How many Black females were willing to marry him? Saying that, of course whte women are the skank of the earth, however Gary Coleman did not have that many choices to pick from.

She did it!
Well, I have been reading up on the story….
A few months ago I saw Gary on a show, or news programme online, where he was having a row with one of the newscasters who was asking very personal and nosey questions about his domestic situation, he walked off set. Apparently, he and his ex-wife had domestic violence issues.
Anyway, without beating about the bush any further, I personally think she killed him.
In order to cash in on his death she allowed some media/photographers to come and take pictures of him on his deathbed and I saw her posing in the pictures. Finally, when she called 911 and the paramedics or whoever on the other side of the phone were telling her how to help him, she was saying she could not. If you love someone or care about a person, and that person is dying right in front of your eyes, you will try your utmost to help that person.
That thief was probably calculating how much money she was going to get out of the whole thing!
Race does factor. Big time. It IS akin to the O.J Simpson case as well.
Both men were brainwashed, aka, colorstruck. They hooked up with their White Princesses. And both men were rageful and had jealous personalities.
Todd Bridges, before Coleman’s death, mentioned how Coleman’s father encouraged this evil sickness. And when I saw the first interview of Coleman’s parents and heard his Dad speak, I COMPLETELY believed it!! COUNTRY! Him sitting there with his light-skinned, prim and proper, wife! Maybe he knows better now, as he was openly crying for this poor, wretched, man, who was his child. They both appeared to be very, very remorseful. It was pitiful.
These finales between BM/WW are prevalent. We who know African-American communities, have seen, some deaths, but mostly horrendous domestic violence. Lets be real. We’re not talking about Love. But one of those twisted Racial components in America(other places too I assume).
That girl murdered him. And more than likely it was self-defense. She probably feels justified and it’s coming off cold and aloof. Coleman was a hot mess, even to himself.
They let that white woman kill him pure and simple. And then she dogged him out in death.
Everything here is sketchy. The fact that anybody married Gary Coleman in the first place was sketchy. This chick seeming as if she suffers from some kind of mental delay is troubling. Him being on life support one day is sketchy. Him being covered in blood from a fall is sketchy. I don’t know what happened, but I do know he seemed to be very miserable in life, so maybe he’s at peace now.
The only thing lower than her selling his deathbed pictures is whatever rag bought them. disgusting.
I’m not sure why the woman’s race has anything to do with the factors which led to Gary Coleman’s death. Race has nothing to do with whether one will be a good or a bad spouse. Race has nothing to do with one’s character. A woman of color is as capable of doing the same things that Gary Coleman’s wife allegedly has done.

From the deathbed photos to conversation with the 911 dispatcher, Shannon comes off shady as hell (which has nothing to do with race).
I don’t understand racist chicks like those quoted above who concern themselves with the race of somebody else’s mate.
Keeping it one hunnert…Coleman was broke, ashy, unattractive and 4’7″. He was hardly the guy chicks making those types of racist statements would have ever given the time of day, so why do they care that the chick he married was white or blue with yellow dots?
Honestly, believe Gary Coleman, was trying to say “she did it” on the 911 tape. It sad, but it is now true to me that white women can get away with alot more than blk woman. She killed a man, and no one cared. No one did anything. How in the hell is okay for an EX-Wife to take a man off life support. SMFH WOW!!! We still live in a racist world! We see it, and nobody does anything about. We need to stick together, raise hell, “can’t shot us all” and educate ppl who think this is okay.
