T.I. and Tiny Arrested for Possession
The King of the South, T.I., and his wife, BET reality star Tameka “Tiny” Cottle, were arrested late last night on drug charges according to reports.
Police stopped the couple in their Maybach on Sunset Boulevard during a traffic stop and smelled marijuana.
T.I, 29, and the 36 year-old former Xscape singer were booked at the West Hollywood sheriff’s station. Bail was set at $10,000.
T.I. was just released in March after serving a seven-month sentence in an Arkansas prison and three months in a Georgia halfway house on federal weapons charges.

I’ve never smoked cannabis and I know a lot more people of color who have not either. My parents and grandparents are all black and I grew up poor; the use of illicit drugs was never acceptable nor did I try any.

It’s always a tragedy to see potential go unfulfilled. Even though T.I. has nearly reached the pinnacle of superstardom in regards to his many entertainment accomplishments, he has failed to manifest the growth and wisdom that should come along with these successes. Let’s be honest – we have all had our fair share of miscues, but if we continue to bask in the ignorance of repeating those mistakes over and over again, our greatness will only be overshadowed by our severe lack of common sense – which by the way is not so common! Things That Make You Go Huuummm … A young Black couple driving a Maybach (200k automobile) is suddenly stoped for (??) what probable cause… in the land of Detective Furhman and the Rodny King Crew… and marijuana is alledgedly smelled by the police… and then a search of the vehicle by the police uncovers a small amount of the substance… then the Black couple is arrested and charged with a felony and required to post bail … and; The Cow Jumped Over The Moon!
