While we’re still catching our breath from the latest Lanvin for H&M collection, yet another high-fashion designer collaboration is on the way! Italy’s esteemed house of Valentino has joined forces with the all-American classic, GAP, to create a women’s capsule collection for Fall. The line will combine luxury and basics, by having Valentino rework some of the GAP’s signature staples and add a chic twist.
GAP may seem like an unlikely choice for such a prestigious collabo, but you may recall that in past years, designers such as Pierre Hardy and Stella McCartney have had their own contributions to the brand. We’ve also learned that this collection will debut in Milan (with the new flagship opening late November) and then move to Dover Street Market in London, and Colette in Paris. Garnering attention from such exclusive international shops hints at the fact that this collection just might be amazing!
There’s a small catch, though, that’s kind of bittersweet for those here in the states; the collection will only be available overseas. Even still, we should be able to browse the items and make purchases online—while supplies last, of course.
