We’ve got a feeling that 2011 will be year of Willow. On the heels of her radio banger, “Whip My Hair,” the 10-year-old has been spoofed on late night TV, and now the daughter of power couple, Will and Jada Smith, is featured in the December issue of W magazine. W’s Matt Diehl says that Willow has twice the charisma of her parents. Talk about a compliment!
The new signee of Jay-Z’s RocNation label talks about her musical influences commenting, “I like the way Billy Idol sings. Mommy turned me on to him. And I like Lady Gaga’s songs.”
Discussing her pre-teen flow, Willow says, “Mommy and Daddy inspired me to be a performer. I get my flow from Daddy, my singing ability from Mommy, and the camera stuff from both. That’s just what happens when you hang out with the Smiths!”
Young Willow discusses the home front, revealing that, despite her personal style, she is a Hollywood kid with boundaries. “I can’t do whatever I want. Mommy has to say it’s okay.” Too cute!
