One woman took a case of bad nails with her—and all the way behind bars.
Cynthia Colston ended up in jail this week after she called 911 four times to complain about a manicure, FOX 35 WOFL reported. Colston claimed that the salon technician had cut her nails too short and called the emergency-only number to request that the sheriff come out to the salon. According to FOX 35 WOFL, the nail technician was slightly injured.
“I need to press charges. I just went to a business and they did not treat me well,” Colston told dispatchers during one of her phone calls.
But the tables were turned. Since Colston inappropriately used the emergency number to complain repeatedly about a non-emergency, she was arrested on the basis of misuse. Colston later defended herself and switched her alibi, claiming that her nails were too long, instead of too short as she had previously reported, and she kept accidentally dialing 911 because she was unable to operate her cell phone.
