Hip-hop fans everywhere are about to go apeshit. Even before the release of Kanye’s epic album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy,” he spilled the beans that he and Jay-Z were going to work on an entire album together. Well, that day is here and, according to Ye, “Watch the Throne” will be dropping next week.

In August, a braggadocios West (do we ever expect anything less?) boasted the duo wouldn’t need much time to capture greatness. “We’ll probably be done in a day or whatever,” West said. “It’s really easy. [Jay-Z] only has to think of ten verses.”

During a New Year’s Eve party, Yeezy let it slip that “Watch the Throw” will drop soon, and since then fans have been waiting with bated breath. Kanye further stoked the flames by tweeting, “1.11.11” yesterday and included the cover art for the cover of the duo’s first single, “H.A.M.”

As a hip-hop fan, I’m excited about the collabo. I just hope it turns out much better than that Jay-Z and R. Kelly “Best of Both Worlds” debacle.

    No

Although I respect the “conscious rappers” more than I respect rappers like Jay and Kanye, I wouldn’t buy theirs either. None of them are saying anything worth hearing.

I’ve never been a rap person but if I were to buy rap it would be from rappers like LeCrae and Trip Lee
