In Fall of 2010, beauty brand OPI announced they would be teaming up with tennis superstar Serena Williams to release a special limited edition collection of nail lacquer called Glam Slam. The gorgeous shades represent Serena’s fun personality and coincide with her journey to obtain her nail technician license.
The Glam slam collection is set to run in conjunction with 4 major world tennis championship events: the Australian Open, The French open, Wimbledon and the US Open with two lacquers to be released at the beginning of each tournament. We’ve already seen the first 6 shades of the collection and now it’s time to get ready for the final installment just in time for the US Open.
In August, OPI will release the last two shades of the Glam Slam Collection called Pros & Bronze and Love Is A Racket. I’ve checked out both shades and love how the romantic yet glamorous shades look against brown skin.
If you love vibrant and shimmery colors on your nails, then you should definitely try out the trendy Pros & Bronze. It contains gorgeous hues of gold that sparkle beautifully against deeper complexions. Love Is A Racket is conversely classic yet chic. It channels old Hollywood glamour with the classy red shade and pink and purple shimmering hues. Serena Williams even suggests wearing them together: “Whether worn alone or with Pros & Bronze layered over Love is a Racket for a golden glow, these two shades have rich hues that are perfect for transitioning from summer to fall,” she says.
You can purchase the duo-pack in August for $15. Visit OPI.com for more information.
