Rihanna may love flaunting her bad girl image, but there’s no doubting the star loves to lend a helping hand.

The singer announced she will be adding an additional date to her ‘LOUD’ tour, stopping in Alabama to perform a benefit concert for those affected by this year’s tornado season. Rihanna will swing into the Jefferson Civic Center Arena on July 11th, giving fans a two for one deal: a performance and a chance to donate to a good cause. All proceeds from the show will be going to three charities: Project Team Up, Tuscaloosa Disaster Relief Fund, and the Mayor’s Disaster Relief Fund.

Rihanna issued a statement saying:

“Hearing about the hundreds of lives that have been lost and the communities that have been so devastated by this disaster … I wanted to figure out a way to help…I’m hoping that bringing the LOUD tour through Alabama can provide a moment of relief and raise a lot of money for the charities we are working with.”

The benefit concert in Alabama is just the most recent display of Rihanna’s philanthropic side. Earlier this year, she appeared as a spokeperson for UNICEF’s Tap Project, which sought to raise awareness of the global water crisis.
