Alicia Keys is gearing up for what promises to be a busy year. Marking the 10th year anniversary of her debut album, “Songs In A Minor,” the singer is set to drop a deluxe and collector’s editions for fans on June 28th. The critically acclaimed album earned Alicia an armful of Grammy trophies and poised her as one of the most promising talents in the game.

Today, Alicia is giving fans a sneak peek of a documentary that will accompany the re-release of “Songs In A Minor” later this month. The six minute clip shows never before seen footage of the making of Alicia’s first album and features her longtime collaborator, Krucial Keys.

It’s almost hard to believe it’s been a decade since “Falling” but seeing the old Alicia with cornrows definitely reminded us of the old day. Not sure how I feel about the push to mark 10 years of a relatively young career, but it’s interesting to look back and see the now new wife and mom as the newbie with cornrows unfamiliar with being in the spotlight.

What’s your take on Alicia’s documentary? Do you get nostalgic thinking about the journey from then to now? Tell us what you think Clutchettes- share your thoughts!
