Last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy and guest Justin Timberlake took viewers back down history lane. Backed by the legendary Roots crew, the two teamed up to perform some of hip-hop’s biggest hits.

Starting with Kurtis Blow’s classic joint, “The Breaks,” Fallon and Timberlake performed a rap medley that included such hits as N.W.A.’s “Express Yourself,” Public Enemy’s “Bring the Noise,” Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It,” Nelly’s “Hot In Here,” and so many more. Justin and Jimmy even hit their Dougie as they performed for the crowd.

Personally, I enjoyed the foray through hip-hop and thought it was both reverent and hilarious.
