I’ve always said since I was younger and visiting my family in Metropolitan areas that I would prefer to live in a house, with land, right outside of a city. It’s so much more peaceful, so much more your own, and not right on top of your neighbors. I agree with him on visiting family in NC, it is so peaceful there, some of the most tranquil moments I have experienced were during summers spent with family in the rural areas of NC. You can always drive into the city if you need to… but then you can leave and go home to your peace and quiet as well. I’m a suburban girl though.

LOL about the bat.

I have never lived in a suburb. I have always lived in a big city, and the older I get, the more I long for quiet and more peace. The ‘burbs in my neck of the woods are still loud and bustling, so moving there wouldn’t give me much more quiet, but they are much safer. I’d love to live in a small, quiet community outside the city.
