After weeks of seeings pics and teasers, Rihanna’s “We Found Love” video has finally dropped. Produced by Scottish songwriter-DJ Calvin Harris, the track is the first single from Rih Rih’s upcoming Talk That Talk record. As someone who wasn’t a fan of the song, the visually arresting clip really impressed me; the video depicts the singer as one half of a hot and heavy couple that experiences major highs and major lows over the course of a doomed drug and alchohol fueled romance. And, yes, with the “Golden Lord” dye job, model and rumoured ex-fling Dudley O’Shaughnessy does remind one of Rihanna’s famous former flame Chris Brown. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think!

I love this video & surprisingly I LOVE the song too. This video is hot, kind of reminds me of my boyfriend & I.jk

Love the video and the song. I’m probably one of Rihanna’s most critical fans… because she produces great music, but she annoys the hell out of me at the same time (weird, huh?). This sh*t though… she did GOOD. Very good. I’m happy.

Can’t help but get this eerie “Chris Brown/Rihanna” flashback with this video though, especially since dude’s a bleached-blonde, light-skinned brotha (well, biracial, but whatever). And that car argument scene? C’mon! Am I really the only one? lol

I don’t know why everyone is so shocked that she drew inspiration from a serious relationship, regardless of how violently it ended. Get over it. I swear it’s like people forget that these artists are people just like us who’v gone through some shit. The song is about love and its addictive qualities, who else is she going to talk about?

  • Was that Requiem for a Dream or a music video?
