Earlier this year we got a sneak peek into some of the women behind popular rappers Fabolous and Jim Jones, as well as a few ladies trying to make a name for themselves in the industry. In VH1’s hit show, ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ viewers were taken behind the velvet rope and inside the drama in Chrissy, Emily, Olivia, Somaya, and Mashonda’s lives.

After watching the ladies beef with each other, struggle to break through in a male-dominated industry, and try to get their men to make it official, this season proves to be even more dramatic.

Last season we say Chrissy propose to Jim Jones, who was coy about setting a date (they are reportedly now married), Emily muster up the courage to leave Fabolous (they’re also back together), Somaya and Olivia try to finally score a hit, and Mashonda move on from the drama with her ex husband, Swizz Beats.

This season already proves to be crazy due to beef (and an apparent beat down) between Chrissy and newcomer Kimbella, long-time girlfriend of Juelz Santana. Season two also sees the addition of Yandy Smith, Jim Jones’ manager.

In that picture, Somaya looks like somebody I know. Did I mention that that somebody is a drag queen?

Yes, I will definitely be watching…Sometimes I feel ashamed of myself because of all the negatively directed toward these shows…but me & my friends find it entertaining & we don’t know any Black women who act like the women on these reality shows….

  • As long as there is noe fake manufactured drama with Somaya I’m watching… That Somaya beef last season was so scripted it was crazy…

For the record Olivia is so sweet in person and Chrissy is so uch prettier in person like… she didn’t look bad on TV, but in person she really is striking.
