“Don’t cry because it’s over, smile because it happened.” – Dr. Seuss

Sometimes it’s hard for us to let go. Whether it’s a relationship, friendship, job, or our dream school…when we get let down our first inclination may be sadness. In that moment consider this: Things happen for a reason. And just because one situation has ended doesn’t mean another, infinitely more awesome one, isn’t waiting for you. So, when you’ve come to the end…don’t forget to smile. You made it. You’ve learned. And you’re moving on.

Happy Thursday!

…and remember to prepare for the next lucky situation

I live by this or at least I try to. Learning to accept things is hard. I’m just trying to enjoy the little moments of joy that I get. It’s not an easy task at all.

Thank you for this, because I really needed it today. I’m having to let go of something, and I was unprepared for how sad “letting go” would make me feel. But this has reminded me to try and look at it in a different way. I’m going to print this and post it up.

I wish I l realized this early on in age, probably missed out on other blessings cause I was too busy moping over what went wrong, but I finally caught on & moving on isn’t as bad as it seems sometimes.
