Beyoncé can strike a pose, can’t she? The mother-to-be—although she doesn’t look it here—covers the February 2012 issue of Glamour Paris looking dewey fresh in a shimmering short dress as metallic golds, silvers, greens, and pinks bounce against her golden skin.
Remarking her legacy as the biggest artist in the game—male or female—the mag uses the headline, “BIEN JOUE BEYONCE! 15 Ans De Success Pas Un Faux Paus,” which means “Well played Beyoncé! 15 years of success without a faux pas.” The French magazine is pretty accurate. In a decade-and-a-half of being in the spotlight, Beyonce’s assumed fake baby bump is the biggest “scandal” ever attached to the star, and even that seems to be panning out to be false.
Inside, Beyonce talks about not skipping a beat while pregnant, and making sure she stays on top of her diet for her own sake and for the sake of her baby.
I’ve been really conscious [about food],” she says. “I’ve been trying my best not to lose control.”
We’re sure she’s doing just fine. If Beyonce is one thing, it’s certainly in control. Congrats to photographer Michelangelo di Battista on capturing her je ne sais quoi.
