After being hospitalized for mild kidney failure, Nick Cannon was finally released from the hospital in LA over the weekend. Cannon was transferred from a medical facility in Aspen, CO, where he was initially hospitalized during a vacation with wife Mariah and twin babies.

Camp Carey-Cannon have yet to issue details of the America’s Got Talent host’s health status, but Cannon was allegedly grappling with the flu prior to being hospitalized, which may have led to problems with his kidneys, WaPo reports. “Daddy Nick is getting [better], we’re all home together taking care of each other, excited about the new year!!” Mariah Tweeted on Tuesday.

Cannon’s rep, Tracy Nguyen, confirmed, saying “He is resting and recovering at home and would like to thank everyone who has expressed concern, well wishes and prayers.” Nguyen included that he will resume his radio show, Rollin With Nick Cannon on the 17th of this month.
