It’s been nearly six years since Eve’s UPN sitcom, Eve, left airwaves and since then the Philly-born rapper has been keeping a relatively low profile. But she’s back. Eve will be returning to TV on NBC’s hit comedy Whitney next month.
theGrio reports:
“Grammy-winning and multi-platinum recording artist, Eve is set to guest star in an upcoming role on NBC’s Whitney. In this episode, Whitney has a confrontation with Eve’s character and comes to realization about her relationship with her boyfriend Alex (played by Chris D’Elia). It all leads to a pivotal moment in the series.”
Whitney airs Wednesday nights at 8pm on NBC.
Will you be watching?
No!!! That is a whack show and one episode with Eve is not going to make a difference.
I really wish she would go back to rapping. Here is one female rapper that had no drama with her peers, tomboyish but still attractive, and could actually rhyme to save her life.
I like Whitney, but I feel like making Eve a guest star will just be awkward. It’s another show with a white cast that doesn’t interact with black people.
Nope, the show is whack. NBC should give Eve her OWN show, then I might give it a whirl. She did alright in “Barbershop” and her own series, before.
I personally like Whitney too. And I will definately tune in to watch Eve.
I can’t stand EVE..ugh
