How Are You Spending Your Leap Day?

by Britni Danielle

Every four years we gain a day in the month of February and some folks take advantage of this extra day to do all sorts of fun things. Some people struggle to have their babies on this day, insuring that they’ll have to figure out whether to celebrate their birthday on February 28 or March 1, while others jump the broom. Most folks will probably be like me today and will be working, but the day is still young.

Who knows what could happen!

While I understand the fascination surrounding Leap Day, I never really got caught up in the hype. My birthday is in May and Leap Day always seems to fall smack-dab in the middle of the week. So, I’ve been playing it pretty regular thus far, but who knows, all that might change in four years.

How about you? Are you doing anything special today?

Gym. Then home. Nothing exciting except for dodging rain drops in the NYC streets.

It’s not really any more special to me than other day. I’m sick as a dog and I’m kind of in a time warp right now. I almost forgot it was Leap Day.
