Poor dim-witted Tyrese. He’s well-known for his less-than-intelligent tweets and will never be able to live down his ridiculous painting depicting the baptism of Tupac by Malcolm X. The latest in Tyrese’s online faux-pas came at the hands of actress Amber Tamblyn (House, The Sisterhood of The Traveling Pants), who found herself cc’d on the same e-mail thread as the R&B singer. Tyrese contacted Tamblyn (whose middle name is Rose, thus the confusion), assuming she was Amber Rose, saying that he’d like to work with her on a new album. That’s when the jokes began.

Still pretending to be Amber Rose, Tamblyn sent Tyrese what she called “Awareness Raps,” that are so bad they almost make me feel badly for the real Amber Rose, who frankly does not sound that much better than these joke demos.

Tyrese’s initial responses were supportive, with him telling the fake Amber “we can make it real …. I’m sitting on a lot of magic … Let me know when ur in LA .. We can play until we customize AR.” But by the time she started bringing in the more-ridiculous demos he had to admit “That song was not it … Not even remotely …. Just keepin it real.” The trolling continued with Tamblyn pretending to be offended and Tyrese finally beginning to think that maybe this wasn’t the real Amber Rose after all.

Now Tyrese is mad that Tamblyn went public with the exchange, for obvious reasons. Poor guy!
