It’s been just weeks since Whitney Houston died suddenly in a Beverly Hills hotel room, but the media is still clamoring over her passing. After Houston’s family allowed fans around the world to share in the singer’s star-studded homegoing service, many were wondering what would become of Houston’s only daughter, Bobbi Kristina.
Only hours after her mother’s memorial, TMZ reported that the 18-year-old had slipped away from her family and was getting high to cope with the loss of her mother, which only fueled the conversation of whether or not Bobbi Kristina would fall victim to the same demons that haunted her parents. Now it seems like she’s ready to set the record straight about her life, her superstar mother, and what’s next.
According to reports, Bobbi Kristina will appear on Oprah Winfrey’s show Oprah’s Next Chapter along with her aunt and uncle, Patricia and Gary Houston. The interview will air March 11 and she is sure to share more details about her mother’s last days.
Although it’ll be interesting to get an inside look at Whitney’s final days, I wonder is it too soon for young Bobbi Kristina to go public?
I’ll guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
