Seriously? this is a TREND? People do this on purpose?? I had the ombre look when i couldnt be bothered to redo my hair colour last year.

@amarie I was thinking the same. The blogger Jessie Adore has something similar to this with natural hair though. http://jessieadore.com/blog/?p=1644 I don’t think it’s noticeable as a natural and it may be difficult to dye how you want it.

Even though ombre hair color is dated it still looks great and oozes style and will probably be around next spring also.

Hmm I wonder if it only considered “ghetto” when Drew Barrymore or Rachel Bilson are rocking the same trend [you know, if not done right of course!] ……But yeah, I love Monica’s, Keke is so gorgeous I can get past the fact the transition from dark to light end is not that smooth lol

If anyone is looking for an ombre style for natural kinky hair I think yall should check out the beautiful actress Yolonda Ross in Raphael Saadiq’s feat. my boo D’Angelo video “Be Here” at the end. That’s gonna be me in the summer!

I’m ready to experiment with color, so we’ll see. I’d love to see this look on shorter hair. I don’t care for long hair in the warmer months. Also, I want to see it on curly locks. I raaarely straighten my hair when it’s hot outside.

I tried it 3years ago with auburn. I loved it!! It looks extremely pretty curled imo
