“I used to want the words ‘She tried’ on my tombstone. Now I want ‘She did it.’” – Katherine Dunham

How many times have you tried to do something, but it never quite happened? Perhaps at the beginning of  the year you told yourself you’ll try to work out more, but three months in and you’ve yet to lace up your sneakers. Or did you say you’ll try to work on your side hustle, or search for  a new job, or be more social, or save money…how is that working for you?

Switching our language from “I will try” to “I will” not only sounds better, but it’ll help you set your focus on actually reaching your goals.

So what will you do today?

Happy Friday!

great words Britni! I’ve done well so far with my main 2012 objectives (work out, side hustle, volunteer, etc); however, i DO need to work on others (eating consistently vegan, eating to treat my body right versus just b/c something tastes good, networking, improving spanish fluency, etc)
