Rihanna never claimed to be Aretha Franklin, hell not even Ben Franklin.. however… Rihanna makes good pop/ workout songs. She stays in her ” LANE”. Drake never claimed to be Rakim either. I like this song because they both know their limitations, but within those limitations they made decent music.
LOVE LOVE LOVE the video!!! Love the color/filter change from black to white, color, and sepia. Love how the icy mounting stimulated the pain drake was going through, I just love the hidden messages behind this piece!
So really, I’m the only one who thinks this was a crappy video? I love the song, but that was 3 minutes of my life in which I could’ve read a much more interesting article. Boring….yawn. Do better Drake.
