I really enjoyed it. I am a big fan of Aasha Davis and I believe this was amazing! I hope the rest are great but I am positive that they will be.

I ‘got it’ but something is missing. I am black and male, working with mostly non-black persons in the states, where racism isn’t THAT obvious. Producing a web series(5min episodes) that attempts to reflect the dynamics of our working together is quite the task. But I digress, back to what’s missing.
First, I would ask, what is the author’s definition of work itself? Second, racism in the work place splinters Labor, it always has. The only way to prove that it hasn’t is to bring something else to the table that is already ‘broken’, which is groundless and leads to even further breaking. Meaning, there can’t be much ambiguity when overall generating media that deals directly w/ the issue of racism.
It has been shown that in order for humanity to survive we must come together, it has to happen…it’s not my opinion, really. This is why it is understood that racism doesn’t work, never has(i.e. in all of human history). So, if this media can reflect this then…the sky is the limit.

Ha! That’s been me. I think in my last job (temp assignment), other opportunities were limited because the temp agency and employer only saw us as a group, and not as individuals, which I hated because I was nothing like them.

This actually scared the hell out of me. Now I’m paranoid that that’s what most white people thought of me or will think of me in my next job. Now I’m more sad than laughing.
