Back in January I told you Tyler Perry’s upcoming film Madea’s Witness Protection, a film starring comedy legends Eugene Levy, Marla Gibbs, John Amos, and Tom Arnold.

According to Lionsgate, Madea’s Witness Protection is about ”a man (Levy) who, after his investment company goes belly up due to embezzling, is put in witness protection with his family, which is forced to move from a wealthy Connecticut neighborhood to Madea’s home in the South.”

When I first heard about the film, I thought it sounded utterly ridiculous, and from the looks of things, I don’t appear to be too far off.

This latest Madea installment is due out June 29, and is just one of many films Tyler Perry is releasing this year.

Check out the trailer and let us know what you think!

I won’t be watching. I can’t stand Madea. Too loud and abrasive. I don’t know who she’s supposed to represent but that’s nobody I know.

  • I guess I can say at least it seems to not center around a broken down woman who needs a man to build her up, at least that is nice -_-
