Wise Words: You’ve Already Got It

by Britni Danielle

“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.” – Harriet Tubman

Too often we look to things outside of ourselves to explain why we’re not where we want to be. Perhaps it’s a rough childhood, a mountain of debt, a packed schedule, not-so-stellar undergrad grades, whatever the case may be…often times those things are just excuses because you haven’t committed yourself to do the work.

Everyone has dreams, or should. But what can help you turn those dreams into a reality is the knowledge that it IS possible, and more importantly, you can do it. With enough focus, studying, practicing, working, and sometimes out-right hustling, if you want your dream to come true bad enough (and you work hard enough)…you can and will make it happen.

What dream are you trying to fulfill, Clutchettes?

Happy Thursday!

Sometimes statistics, naysayers and self doubt can really get in the way of fulfilling your dreams. You just have to, like you said in the article, stay focused.
