Good! Glee provided Amber with great exposure but she’s a pretty girl with a huge beautiful voice. I was getting tired of Mercedes under-developed character, ghetto fab clothing, and her only getting singing time at the end of a song or just on R&B/soul/gospel songs. I wish her the best of luck!
I only watched the show for Santana, Puck, Artie and Mercedes but I’ve also stopped watching. Glee really has jumped the shark and it’s not even interesting or as funny as it used to be anymore. I’m just thinking to myself why I even bothered watching it. I did like the camera angles and the cinematography. But the show was just taking too long and was moving really slow. One minute Rachel and Finn are together, then they break up, get together, break up, get together. It’s just exhausting to keep up with who’s dating who now and who’s gay this week, who’s a lesbian this week, when is Artie going to get some lovin? Plus the sexual undertones was getting cliche like, look, I’m tired of seeing all this sex and crap, can you please get on with the singing and the musicals? I wanted it to be like HSM but better and it was, but then it just fell off and started to look more like the new Degrassi…which sucks too by the way lol.
I was wishing and hoping that Mercedes could have a long lasting relationship with the fish lip dude ( I don’t even remember his character or why they broke up) but since she was going back and forth and didn’t stay with him, I just turned the TV off and listened to music. I wanted Mercedes to have a boyfriend who loved her, for her to be passionate about something. For her to stand out, not only her voice, but her confidence, her fulfilling her dreams, joining some type of sports program, you know something instead of being boring black girl Mercedes that’s sassy and has a big voice.
