Bey’s Givenchy gown was exquisite!! Avant-garde, couture at it’s absolute finest! Say what you will about her, but her shape was unreal in that dress! And the cool thing is–she’s not even back to her pre-baby weight. I would have liked the bodysuit to better match her skin tone though ideally.
I loved the shape/silhouette of Solange’s Rachel Roy canary gown. Elegant, feminine, fresh…I’m not normally a Rachel Roy fan, but this dress is well executed.
Rihanna’s Tom Ford crocodile gown was the epitome of sleek and sexy Rock n Roll glamour–I would have expected nothing less from the stylish star. However, her hair, was an epic fail. It looked uncombed, and unkempt.
I love the idea of Janelle Monae switching up her signature style, but I did not like the jumpsuit. The material and style did little for her. I wonder if it was Chanel, since they design her signature suits.
Paual Patton looked ho-hum. This is the Met Gala, the premiere fashion event of the year. Simply pretty just won’t do. Risky, High Fashion, Artistic, and Avant Garde are a must!

I’m sorry but, to me Beyonce’s Givenchy dress was tacky, tasteless, and UGLY!!
I have to agree, it was really tasteless. I did love the whole feathers theme that many performed on the night.
