The song is selling one thing but I am pretty sure that the director was referencing the riots in France with it’s imagery. How you take it it is up to you, the problem with the video for me was it didnt show why the riot was happening, that makes it just a plain showing for violence.

+1000. *standing ovation* When will this crap cease? @Tonton: Not to be rude, but inspired by the riots in France, my a$$. Doesn’t take much inspiration or creativity to come up with this. I mean, if they weren’t rapping about “cocaine seats,” “coke on her black skin,” and “drug dealer chic” and luxury cars and whatever else, I maybe could buy that this video/song is deep. However, that is not the case.

Drug dealer chic? Really. And, okay, the elephant at the end? Seriously, what the f*ck do people see in these two rappers? College Dropout Kanye – yes, I get how people fell in love with that Kanye. But this video, and not to mention this song, is straight crap. I just don’t get it. I only watched b/c I figured it’d be good to hear the whole song, since I heard part of it in the Great Gatsby trailer. Frankly, I’m sorry I wasted my time. Smh.

*Note: I’m not a Christian (I’m proudly atheist), so my hostility toward this video has nothing to do with religion but everything to do with how people can find these two gimmicky rappers so entertaining.*
