Waxing is a necessary evil! It’s not my favorite thing to do, but I religiously go every 6 weeks.

yes..I’ve allowed myself to let go of waxing since I’m not dating now…ugh..one thing I do not miss

eyebrow threading was too painful for me..so razor it is for now..sucks that I have to do it every 2 days.

I have thick kinky hair so I dread hair washing/twisting days..the longer it grows..the longer it takes to comb/detangle

the daily thing that I’m trying to no longer dread is my gym routine that gets more and more challenging..squat/leg lifts/chair dips/running on an incline..ish is painful but makes the legs and butt look lovely!

Listening to so many of you complain about the daily difficulties of styling your hair has been really eye opening for me. It’s not something that I ever think about. I just wake up, comb it and it’s good to go for the day. I do hit the salon once a week for maintenance, but that’s about it. I guess I’ve taken that ease for granted. Thanks for the insight.

I’ve gotta agree with the threading. But it is worth it, 99% of the time I go to the same lady and she’s really good at it. Also, threading discomfort does not compare to the pain of a burning relaxer–I’m glad I don’t do those anymore.

Yeah I don’t see a point in doing something you dread? Lol. Especially if it isn’t necessary.
But one necessary regimen I’m no fan of, is hair detangling. Even with good products, I just dislike how much time it consumes to do so.
I used to hate waxing, but I only wax under my arms and the skin in that area has become desensitized to all the waxing tension.

Laser hair removal…I get the Brazilian style and have to numb up for at least 2 hours beforehand.
