Flowers in the Attic is a great read but also very sad, I’m sure you can find a copy on Amazon or a used bookstore.

As Roslyn stated I think you are referring to Flowers In The Attic by V.C. Andrews…there’s also a movie about the book.

I don’t think so at all. I find Ms. Morrison’s books a little ‘heavy’. I can usually finish a novel in a day but it takes me a few days to complete one of hers, so you aren’t alone. It was the same with Their Eyes Were Watching God, some of my book club members looked at me quizzically when I shared I had a difficult time reading it…lol!

I love mysteries so I would like to check out #3. I really miss Valerie Wilson Wesley’s Tamara Hayle mystery series. For some reason I cannot get true a Toni Morrison book. Maybe I am not intellectual enough.

There is this book that I’ve BEEN looking for for years!!! Whoever the author is, SURPASSES any other on this earth!!

All I remember is an attic, a boy, and a girl-something about that attic….aiyaiyaiyaiy!!

If ever I found that book, I’d gladly be happy to exit my stay on earth.
