Kesha Nichols Goes After Shaunie and BBW Producers

Since big, bad Tami embarrassed herself and basically had to apologize to the world for her hood antics in Tahiti, victim Kesha has gotten more and more confident in expressing her opinion.

“The things that Tami [Roman] was arguing with me about weren’t important to me. The problems that Tami has with me, it doesn’t have anything to do with me,” said Kesha, who insists that she was bullied by Tami.

So far, so good right?

Wrong.

Kesha then goes on a full-frontal assault on Shaunie, who though far from innocent in the matter, was shown speaking in her defense and telling Tami she was wrong.

“Shaunie definitely could have used her influence and her friendship with these ladies to stop some of the bullying and not one time did she stand up and say anything,” said Kesha.

Claiming that Shaunie called her a “secondary bully,” Kesha then rips into the producers, claiming that they cared nothing about the well-being of the women on the show, just dollar signs:

“They’re not my friends, they’re here to make a show and that’s the #1 goal,” said Kesha, “and it doesn’t matter what’s going on. They’re not going to step into the scene if they’re gonna mess up something that could be great for TV.”

According to the S2S article, Kesha does know some of the producers personally, but still feels they show her no preferential treatment. In a blog posting last month, Tami shared her feelings on the subject:

Do me a favor, don’t be such a liar and manipulator. I know you have friends in high “Executive Producer” places, but let’s keep this all the way real.

Sidebar:

I am NOT a bully. People don’t understand that Keisha is NOT innocent in this matter and she does a great deal of lip boxing behind the scenes.  I am not going to try and be respectful when I have been disrespected numerous times…off camera.  If you are bold enough to talk behind my back, then you should be grown enough to handle the repercussions of your actions and words. The editors have done a wonderful job of putting my outbursts on the show but not showing the full chain of events. My outbursts are real, but they are also driven by something which is conveniently being edited out when it comes to Keisha.  Wish I had an executive producer in my pocket…I’m just saying

While I will never agree with Tami’s psychological assault of Kesha while in Tahiti, after reading her interview and seeing the second half of the reunion special, it’s easy to see that Kesha has found a fan base and is playing a role. Only time will tell if she can learn to keep her mouth closed about other people, especially if she’s not prepared for them to react in ways that can not be predicted.

In the meantime, we can only hope that all of these women takes internal notes and reflect on the image they are portraying to the world.

  1. So over all of them. Unless Kesha was leaking information about Tami to the press or something (I’m sure no one would have cared but whatever) or was besmirching her “good name” (HA!) then there was no reason for Tami to go off like that. In real life, talking behind someone’s back, especially when that person is not your friend, is a non-issue unless it affects your money or your livelihood. None of these women have anything better to do with their lives and they really need to go sit down somewhere.

  2. And this is why bullying continues. People talk a good game like bullying is so bad…but in real life actions speak louder than words. I’ve noticed that bullies tend to be popular. In the case of these women, Tami, Evelyn, Shaunie are all pretty, witty, funny, they have a “swag” and seem like the kind of girls you want to hang out with. The other girls are cool in their own ways but don’t fit into what the “circle” deems as cool so they are held to a different standard. Suzie doesn’t fit in either but they throw her a bone and give her the “privilege” of rolling with them.

The fact is, as others have said, everyone on the show has said things behind other ppls backs from weaves to looks to style of dress. I would bet money that Ev and Jenn said some harsh things about Tami behind her back. But of course Tami won’t go the Kesha route with them cuz she wants to be in.

I don’t think Kesha is perfect but Tami clearly bullied her. It’s true that it doesn’t matter if Kesha approached Tami or not, Tami would’ve reacted the same way and prob hit her if Kesha defended herself, she did it to Meeka. As far as Shaunie goes, you can smell her disingenuous nature through the TV. Even when defended Kesha she def didn’t go as hard as she could’ve. Bottom line, Kesha should leave the show now that she knows what it’s about. The people who side with bullies do so because they tend to be more likeable than their bullies, and most people see it as an advantage to side with the bullies, despite knowing that they’re wrong.

    • I bet she’s friends with Gloria too. Keisha has provoked Tami to lash out at her. She can behind the cameras all she want, but Tami will continually tag that ass if she doesn’t cut it out. And who told her that outfit looked good on her at the reunion. She has the body of a 10 year old. Your dress should not blend in with the complexion of your skin. Especially when you’re already in need of a tan.

  3. All of this would be irrelevant if everyone turned their tv’s off or to another channel. Ratings drive the show. Bad behavior drives the ratings. No one wants to see a group of sistas doing positive things and having a good time together. If that was the case “Let’s Talk about Pep” would have been renewed and crap like “BBW” and “Love and Hip-Hop” would be nonexistent.
