Memorable Movie Scenes, What’s Your Favorite?
The Exorcist – I saw the Exorcist when I was five years old. I’m sure this was some sort of form of child abuse, but my aunt let me watch it anyway and it scared the hell out of me. The scene when her head turns all the way around? Still creepy!
Belly – Say what you want about this film, but the opening scene of Hype Williams’ only foray into film is just amazing. I love it! It’s visually stunning, and Soul II Soul’s “Back to Life” fits perfectly with the energy of the scene. {Watch on Youtube}

I love any movie with makeover montages– especially The Princess Diaries, The Devil Wears Prada (…I love Anne Hathaway), and Crazy Stupid Love.
Any allusion that Awkward Black Girl does to a film scene is also pretty memorable (like Jay and Cece saying good bye a la The Color Purple and the dance scene from Love & Basketball).
Definately the scene when Bill Bellamy dances in the bedroom for Vivica A. Fox in Getting Played. That is one of the funniest scenes I can remember. I fall out laughing each time I see it.
