Anyone who knows me knows that I am a huge fan of “The Game.” We’re talking Saber Country, Tasha Mack quotin’, Kelly-lovin’, TV crush havin’ on Jason, Malik, and Derwin for different reasons kind of fan. I still haven’t heard back from Salim and Mara Brock-Akil about my writing for the show, but that’s OK; one of these days my resume is going to stand out.
This is why I am beyond ecstatic that Derwin “Ding Dong” Davis is open to coming back to the show, reports Sister2Sister Magazine.com.
When BET announced last month that Pooch Hall was not returning, he made it clear he really didn’t want to leave, but that he had to pursue bigger and brighter opportunities in the form of a new Showtime series, “Ray Donovan.” Tia Mowry Hardrict also made her graceful exit to focus on mommyhood and her Style series “Tia and Tamara” with twin sister Tamera Mowry-Housley.
Speaking with “The Breakfast Club,” Pooch said his return all hinged on BET:
“I can’t say what’s going on with BET, but Pooch Hall is ready,” he said. “I’m just going to tell the fans [to] have faith. It’s being worked out. I want to come back and don’t be surprised if I do come back.”
Weigh in Clutchettes: If Derwin came back without Melanie, would you still watch “The Game”?
