Erica’s death has really hit me hard. I also loved her blog, and her books were awesome and REAL, just like she was. I know she struggled with depression and I hope and pray she didn’t “succumb” to her illness. Either way, I hope she has found peace. 42 is far too young to die. Erica, you are loved and will be missed.

What a tragic loss. I used to read her articles on her blog The Feminista Files a few years ago. I was disappointed when she took her blog down. God bless her & her family.

I holding her book “Bling” right now. I bought it a LONG TIME AGO but never got around to reading it. I guess I’ll go ahead and read it now. RIP.
