I call my alter ego Eve Black and Patti Professional. Eve Black comes out when needed in non professional settings, Patti Professional comes out in professional settings. My tongue is sharper than a sword and sometimes folks just need to get the business.

I guess I am the minority in the minority.
When I am angry, I remove myself from the environment and allow myself to just go through the motions. I am not prone to acting out, physically, when I am angry. An ex-boyfriend once told me that I “lacked passion” because I didn’t scream, shout or yell at him, whenever we argued.

I see this alter ego on rare occasions. When she does appear, usually after some man has dogged me out and I’ve flown off the handle, I regroup, compose myself and deny to anyone with eyes to see and ears to hear, that the crazy black woman was anyone other than my twin sister escaped from the mental asylum.
