5 Common Mistakes Women With Natural Hair Make
1. Avoiding a trim.

When growing out your hair from a big chop, trimming is essential. It will not only strengthen your hair by getting rid of dead ends, it will actually help it grow faster. Because you can’t see split ends as easily on natural kinky/curly hair as you can on straight hair, it’s tempting to go months without cutting them off. Trust us, you’re only doing yourself a disservice. Get to trimming!

I always feel that because I have locs that sometimes my identity as a ‘natural’ is invalid.
Except for brief forays into relaxing, I’ve been natural all my life. Everyone is different, but the sealant that works for me is castor oil, the kind sold in health food stores.
It makes my medium texture hair SOFT, but I’m still trying to find the exact amount to use that doesnt leave my hair greasy-feeling for days.
Lately, I’ve been experimenting with a castor oil/ Argan oil combination under a moisturizing leave-in conditioner that’s working very well.Leaves my hair curly, not frizzy.
Love all of the comments…but I do agree completely wetting my hair everyday would be a pain for me or anyone with lengthy hair
