Beat the Heat with 3 Natural Hair Updos

2. The “I make this look easy” ’do

Sometimes the a-little-less-than-coiffed approach can actually turn out nicely. Once that wet set starts to loosen, find a thin headband or even a scarf. (Sometimes your wrap scarf can be upgraded for the day, but shh — don’t tell anyone.) Decide on which band placement works best and spritz on some oil sheen. It’s that simple.

  1. I used to do the last one all the time when I was natural.. we called it chiney bumps in Jamaica though…. dont know why..
I would wash, oil with a mixture of castor (hated the smell) and coconut oil and twist em up.. then monday morning before school, I would take em out and rock it like that for the week..
I miss my natural hair.. :(. Oh well.
