When I first went natural there was one young girl on my college campus who remarked that I looked like a slave. When my friend told me about it, I was really offended but now that I look back I don’t see why. For one, What does a slave look like? There were plenty of house slaves with “good” hair but guess what? They were still slaves. Secondly, there are people that will always be unhappy with themselves and try to project their insecurities on you. Keep brushing them off Lil Momma!
