Men in Prints: Yay or Nay?

Conservative menswear red carpet looks seem to be a thing of the past. At the 2012 BET Awards, men took brave fashion risks, embracing the season’s trends with boldness and verve. One of the more popular sensations in menswear currently is prints, and Swizz Beatz and Hosea Chanchez of BET’s “The Game” were all too happy to embrace the look.

Swizz rocked Givenchy’s palm print pants with a cream slit fitted top. The same print was featured in Ebony magazine’s editorial with Trey Songz (he wore the blazer) and is becoming increasingly popular among the young, stylish set.

Hosea dove head-first into the colored suit trend with a blue Paul Smith suit, which he paired with Christian Louboutin leopard shoes. Men wearing leopard print isn’t something you see often, especially when it comes to accessories.
